Beverøya Camping

Beverøya is a family-run campsite located 1 km from Bø Town Center. In 1972, Einar and Jenny purchased the campsite, which at that time consisted of 10 cabins and around 50 camping spots over 20 acres. Astrid, who was 6 years old at the time, helped out by assisting guests from the soda counter behind the reception/shop. Astrid later took over the management and has since expanded the campsite. Today, the campsite covers 80 acres and features 37 cabins and space for approximately 300 camping spots. The third generation is now involved in the operation, with Håkon serving as the maintenance manager on the grounds and Silje at the reception desk.

The name Beverøya originates from the fact that there used to be many beavers in the area around Bø River, and the campsite is surrounded by small outlets of Bø River, making Beverøya a little vacation island.

We look forward to creating many wonderful memories with you!
